Learn to Dive 4 day Open Water Course

| To take an Open Water Dive Course
here in Queensland you need to be at least 12 years old, be able
to swim 200m, and tread water for 10 mins. |
| You will also need to pass a dive
medical to Australian Standards before you can dive and generally
the school organizes that for you as part of the course. This costs
around $65. If you suffer from ashma, are on any medication, or
have any other medical conditions that concern you then please check
with us, or the school, first to avoid disapointment. |
| Courses are generally run in English,
but on certain days they are also run in German, Japanese, and Korean. |
| 4 day courses are usually 2 days
pool and theory on land, then the 4 training dives are done over
2 days on a day trip boat. (Live aboards are possible. Contact
us for details.) |

Itinerary

| DAY ONE |
| 9.00am pick-up from your city
accommodation. |
| Classroom theory. |
| Dive medical to AS 4005.1 (if required).

| Lunch (not included). |
| Dive equipment selection Pool training. |
| 5.00pm return. (approximately).

| DAY TWO |
| 9.00am pickup from your city accommodation. |
| Pool training. |
| Lunch (not included). |
| Classroom theory. |
| 5.00pm return. (Approximately). |

| Please note on days one and
two - meals, accommodation and Medical are not inclusive. |

| DAY THREE |
| 7.45am pickup from your city accommodation. |
| Cruise out to reef aboard ReefQuest
and do your first 2 training dives. |
| Lunch (included). |
| Partake in some snorkelling. |
| Return to Cairns by 16:30 |

| DAY FOUR |
| 7.45am pickup from your city accommodation. |
| Cruise out to reef aboard ReefQuest
and do your final 2 training dives. |
| Lunch (included). |
| Certification as Open Water diver
. |
| Fun Dive (time permitting). |
| Last dive completed by 2.00pm. |
| 5.00pm return to your accommodation.

| Cancellation Policy |
Full refund will be given on
DAY ONE due to failing the dive medical
50% of course fee, if course is cancelled up to 5pm on day 2
Full course fee may be charged if cancelled after day 2
