Protection for Covid on Cairns GBR Trips

With Covid-19 still present in the world all Operators in Cairns take the protection of their guests very seriously. So below is all you need to know about the safety requirements to travel to the Great Barrier Reef.

By order of the Queensland State Government, The Public Health and Social Measure linked to vaccination Direction was revoked on 14 April 2022, ending the requirement to check in and to be fully vaccinated in order to travel. However, many operators will require you to show a negative Rapid Antigen Test (R.A.T.) 24 hours prior to boarding.

If you, or anyone in your party, is experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, please do not travel on any of our advertised trips or courses, please contact us and we can assist with rescheduling your booking if required.

Please refer to the Queensland Health website for more information.
