Reef Magic operates daily

Reef Magic is a 22m catamaran catering for up to 140 passengers. At the Reef, it moors up against a 45 X 12m double deck pontoon -“Marine World”. The pontoon offers stability and a firm base to enjoy a number of activities such as diving, snorkelling, underwater observation area, a helicopter pad for scenic flights, or transfers as well as much more. Great for families and with a dedicated children’s swimming area, it’s a great option.

Reef Magic cater to both certified divers and introductory divers, and fantastic for those of you just wanting to snorkel, or relax on the Sun Deck. A large stable pontoon is ideal for families or those who want to experience the reef but don’t desire to get wet!

With loads of activities for all ages, you can snorkel in the sheltered coral lagoon, join a Marine Biologists on a Guided Snorkel Safari, try Scuba Diving or even Sea Trek Helmet Diving.

Depart direct from Cairns on a fast, stable catamaran providing a smoother ride and reduced travel time, leaving more of your day to experience the magic of the Great Barrier Reef. Unique to Reef Magic Cruises, our modern fast catamarans are never filled to capacity ensuring unmatched space, comfort & attentive service.

Reef Magic Cruises offers attentive small boat service with welcome big boat comfort. Reef Magic limits daily passenger numbers to 190 while offering comfortable seating for over 300. This ensures over 100 empty seats even on a “full” day. When combined with the multilingual crew (German & French daily) and a crew-to-passenger ratio of 1:11 guests receive personalised attention.

Unlimited Snorkelling with equipment and instruction, Semi Sub Tours, Underwater Observatory, and plenty of time to relax on the upper sun deck or shaded lower deck. Helipad for those wanting to try scenic flights.

Not a confident swimmer? then stay dry and view the reef from the semi-submersible reef viewer, glass bottom boat or underwater observatory, try a Helmet Dive for a scuba-style experience without getting your hair wet, or soar above it all on a spectacular Reef Scenic Helicopter Flight. With 5 hours at the reef, there is time to do it all.

If simply relaxing & soaking up the tropical warmth is more your style then take time out on our spacious sundeck where you will also find the region’s only reef-based massage therapist.
