AquaQuest is a brand new custom built luxury dive and snorkel vessel introduced to Port Douglas in July 2017. She is fully equipped with the most modern and state of the art facilities including Nitrox. As the newest vessel in Port Douglas she will give passengers an unrivaled comfort with the best experience available as we visit some of the best dive and snorkel locations on the Outer Great Barrier Reef at Agincourt, Opal and St Crispin’s Reefs.
We have a choice of nine different locations that we can choose from and we will visit two different locations every day with ability to do up to three different dives each day.
Accommodation pick up from Cairns at 7:00 am, Northern Beaches 7:30 am and Port Douglas 7:45 to 8:00 am- Please note that these times are approximate
08.00 am check in at the AquaQuest desk located at thePort Douglas Marina Mirage
8:30 am. AquaQuest will depart. Approximately one hour and twenty minutes travel time. During this time the crew will present you with the safety and activity briefings.
10.00 am Arrive at the first Reef site. Once at the reef, the certified divers and introductory divers will hit the water at one of our fabulous dive sites. All passengers who are snorkelling will be taken to the top deck and shown where the best snorkeling spots are and what they can expect to find.
11:30 am We will have moved to our second location for the day.
12:30 pm Lunch.
1:00 pm there will be a reef interpretation talk held on the top deck by one of our very knowledgeable crew to discuss what you have found so far and give you more information on the Great Barrier Reef.
2:00 pm In water activities recommence for divers and snorkelers alike.
3:00 pm AquaQuest will be heading back to Port Douglas
4:30 pm Return to Port Douglas. Coach services back to your accommodation will be provided
