PADI Instructor Examination Instructor

Examiners from PADI Asia Pacific, conduct this phase. The purpose of the program is to evaluate your theoretical knowledge and instructional abilities as developed throughout the previous phases.

Areas of Evaluation

1. Diving theory examinations (5)
2. PADI systems, Standards, and procedures exam
3. Academic presentation
4. Confined water teaching presentation
5. Open water teaching presentation
6. Open water rescue evaluation
7. General Diving skills evaluation
8. Skill circuit evaluation

Prerequisites

1. Successful attendance of a PADI I.D.C. in the past 12 months
2. Must have been certified as a diver for at least 6 months
3. Must have proof of 100 logged dives PADI Materials and dive equipment No extra materials required.
4. Dive gear, as per I.D.C.
5. Hold a current dive medical to Australian Standards Administrative requirements. Your Course Director will look after this.

IE Fees

The IE fees (payable to PADI Asia Pacific) include 2 ½ days evaluation, and use of classroom facilities. Your certificated Instructor card, and wall certificate. What they don't include is transfers, accommodation, food, any boat fees for the open water sessions, tanks, weights and air fills (your Course Director will assist with the latter 3).
