DAY ONE - 3 dives*

8.00am pick up from your city accommodation**

9.00am Board MV Sunkist - a fast modern transfer boat for 90 minute transfer to Outer Barrier Reef

Equipment selection and transfer to Kangaroo Explorer

Lunch, briefings then 2 afternoon dives

DAY TWO - 3 dives*

Three pleasure dives

Breakfast, and lunch are included

3.00pm Depart Outer Barrier Reef Return to your accommodation approx. 4.30pm

*indicates maximum number of dives available. 2 different reefs visited (multiple sites).

**pick up and drop off from city accommodation is included. Pick up from Northern Beaches can be arranged at an extra cost ($12).

This itinerary is meant as a guide only. All times and sequences are subject to change.

The Certified Diver trip includes all dive equipment*, air fills, bed linen, meals and accommodation whilst on board. Snorkellers may enjoy unlimited snorkelling, all snorkelling equipment, bed linen, meals and accommodation whilst on board.

*BCD, regulator, dive computer, mask, snorkel, full foot fins, 5mm Short arm/leg wetsuit

Note to non divers - Free introduction to diving available for non divers (note - this is not a dive, but an introduction to diving held in water near the surface). If you enjoy the experience then you may choose to participate in full introductory dives with your instructor.

The M.V. Kangaroo Explorer is a modern 25 meter catamaran specifically designed for Queensland coastal cruising.The main deck features a spacious saloon served by a top class galley and a well stocked bar.

The top deck offers an enclosed air-conditioned sun lounge as well as an open and shaded sundeck and there is a licensed bar onboard.

There is also a library situated in the sun lounge if you feel like some quiet time

The Kangaroo Explorer is equipped with a spacious dive deck providing easy access to and from the water.

She takes 36 passengers and there are 16 cabins on board made up of 6 twin, 6 double and 3 quad share.

All cabins have the following features for your comfort and convenience:
•Fully Airconditioned
•Carpeted
•Ensuite
•Portholes or windows (upper decks)

Please bring your own towels ( hint: 2 are better than 1!)

February Special. Book a 2 day 1 night trip and get upgraded to a 3 day 2 night trip for only $10 more + taxes!!

OR Take a 2 day 1 night trip as a certified diver for only $300 + Tax ($40)

A deposit is required at the time of booking, with the balance paid on the day of departure.

Please check availability with us before booking.

Cairns Dive Centre Cancellation policy. Cancel within 48 hours and 100% trip fee is payable. All other cancellations incur loss of deposit.

Please note, the above itinerary is a guide only, and the order of sites may change. The captain will always adapt the itinerary to the prevailing weather, tides and currents.

Meals may vary slightly depending on availability of seasonal fruit and vegetables. Please advise if you are a vegetarian and we will do our best to make sure we cater for you.

Please note that around the first Tuesday of each month the boat retuns to Cairns to re-fuel. This does not affect the dive schedule in any way.
